Honestly, Chedda doesn't actually do that much for you, aside from some basic math. You decide exactly when and what and how to track your expenses.

You know how TVs are smart these days? Well, if TVs are smart then Chedda is kinda dumb. It can't connect to your bank account. It can't interpret your credit card statements. It's got like zero AI. For real. It's kind of old-fashioned in a way, like writing it down on a piece of paper and then adding it up with a calculator except that you are typing it into your pocket computer which adds it up and organizes it for you immediately.
Is it an app??
It's a web app!!
As a developer, it is such a pain in the ass developing different apps for all the different mobile platforms and app stores and blah blah blah. Chedda is a regular ass website, it just works, and you don't have to download an app (or any updates). The latest version of Chedda is always up and running right here, and it looks great on desktop and on tablet and especially on mobile. We recommend trying the "Add to Home Screen" feature from the web browser on your smart phone.
It's your data
It's encrypted
Every bit of data that you save in Chedda is yours, and we do our very best to keep it secret and keep it safe. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and it can easily be exported at any moment. If you ever want out of this, then fine, take your data and go! If you ever need to delete your account, all your data gets deleted with it. We are not and never will be in the business of selling your data.
